Prohibits discrimination based on pregnancy, childbirth, lactation, or parenting status in any Delaware educational program receiving state approval or financial assistance

Requires schools to excuse absences for labor, delivery, prenatal/postnatal appointments, and provides 6 weeks of consecutive excused absences for students giving birth, with additional days available with a health-care provider's note

Mandates up to 4 days per school year of excused absences for a child's illness or medical appointments without requiring documentation, plus absences for related court appearances

Requires schools to provide lactating students with a private, secure room (not a restroom) with power source, refrigerator access, and necessary equipment for expressing milk

Schools must offer reasonable accommodations including modified schedules, remote learning options, extended deadlines, tutoring, transportation assistance, and elevator access, with no academic penalties for using these accommodations

Takes effect July 1, 2026, with the Department of Education required to develop implementing regulations
