Acknowledges the Stonewall uprising as the catalyst for the modern LGBTQIA+ rights movement and the establishment of June as Gay Pride Month, with the first Pride march held on June 28, 1970

Notes that approximately 4.5% of Delaware adults (around 40,000 individuals age 13+) identify as LGBTQIA+

Encourages expanded efforts to inform Delaware residents about the need for acceptance and equitable treatment of LGBTQIA+ individuals of all backgrounds
