Re-establishes the Student Behavior and School Climate Task Force that was originally created under Senate Concurrent Resolution No. 119 of the 152nd General Assembly

Task Force must examine causes of student behavior issues, their impact on student learning and educator retention, and effectiveness of current discipline policies including restorative practices

Required to recommend legislative, regulatory, and operational actions for adopting data-driven, developmentally-appropriate school discipline policies and family engagement strategies

Final report due to the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and Speaker of the House no later than March 1, 2026

Task Force previously submitted its initial final report on November 1, 2024, but members determined further study is needed to refine recommendations
