LYTE provides mentoring, academic instruction, and leadership development to students from low-income backgrounds, with over 75% of scholars from low-to-moderate income households and more than 50% living below the poverty line

The organization has achieved a 100% high school graduation rate among its scholars, with all attending college, including many first-generation college students

LYTE scholars have earned millions of dollars in scholarships and gained acceptance to universities including Cornell, Swarthmore, University of Virginia, Delaware State University, and University of Delaware

The organization connects students with over 100 paid internships across eight career pipelines and provides college campus visits and pre-college program opportunities
