Requests the Delaware Department of Education to conduct a comprehensive review of all diagnostic assessments and screenings given to kindergarten students, including the Delaware Early Learning Survey implemented in 2012

Directs evaluation of kindergarten readiness data collection processes across the 6 developmental domains: social and emotional, physical, language, cognitive, literacy, and mathematics

Requires the Department to engage stakeholders including kindergarten educators, Delaware State Education Association, Delaware Association of School Administrators, and Delaware Early Childhood Council through focus groups and surveys

Addresses educator concerns about duplicative and burdensome assessments by seeking recommendations to streamline requirements and reduce administrative burden while maintaining effectiveness

Mandates a report by May 1, 2026, to be submitted to Senate and House Education Committee chairs with findings, strengths, areas for growth, and recommendations for improving data collection efficiency
