Expands firefighter death benefits under s. 112.191, F.S. to include deaths occurring during participation in training exercises, in addition to emergency response activities.

Increases the $50,000 accidental death benefit to cover deaths resulting from training exercise participation where the firefighter's death occurs as a result of response to an emergency or training exercise.

Adds coverage for firefighters who die as a result of injuries sustained from unlawful and intentional acts by another person, in addition to the existing $150,000 benefit for murders and arson-related deaths.

Applies retroactively to all firefighter deaths occurring on or after November 1, 2007.

Maintains minimum benefit amounts and ensures payments are adjusted according to existing statutory provisions.
