Creates a public records exemption for personal identifying information held by public transit providers used to facilitate prepaid transit fare payments or acquisition of prepaid fare cards

Exempts this information from public records requirements under Florida Statutes s. 119.07(1) and Article I, Section 24(a) of the State Constitution

Includes sunset provision requiring legislative review and reenactment to prevent automatic repeal on October 2, 2015

Legislature finds the exemption necessary to encourage prepaid fare usage by protecting user privacy, as individuals would be less likely to use prepayment methods if personal information became public

Effective date is July 1, 2010
