Increases the weekly wage exemption threshold for heads of family from $500 to $750 per week for garnishment protection under Florida law.

Requires written agreements to waive garnishment protection for heads of family earning more than $750 per week to be in a separate document, written in the same language as the underlying contract, and in at least 14-point type with specific statutory language.

Mandates that both the consumer and creditor sign the waiver agreement, with the creditor certifying they have fully explained the document to the consumer.

Amends section 77.041, F.S. to update the Notice to Defendant and Claim of Exemption form to reflect the new $750 weekly earnings threshold.

Becomes effective October 1, 2010.
