Exempts personal identifying and location information of certified ombudsmen and employees of the Office of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman from public records disclosure requirements.

Protects home addresses, telephone numbers, places of employment, and photographs of ombudsman staff, as well as similar information for their spouses and children.

Includes names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by children of ombudsmen and employees as confidential information.

Allows state and federal agencies authorized by law to access this protected information in furtherance of their statutory duties.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and sets the repeal date as October 2, 2015, unless the Legislature reenacts the provision.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
