Creates section 775.0862, F.S. to reclassify sexual battery offenses committed by authority figures against students in educational institutions.

Defines "authority figure" as school officers, teachers, administrators, volunteers, and educational support employees employed by or contracted with an educational institution.

Reclassifies felony sexual offenses: third-degree felonies become second-degree, second-degree become first-degree, and first-degree become life felonies when committed by authority figures against students.

Ranks reclassified offenses one level above the standard ranking under the Criminal Punishment Code for purposes of sentencing and gain-time eligibility.

Amends section 921.0022, F.S. to include section 775.0862 as a reclassification provision that does not cause offenses to become unlisted; effective October 1, 2010.
