Eliminates the Juvenile Justice Standards and Training Commission effective July 1, 2010, transferring all staff development and training responsibilities to the Department of Juvenile Justice.

Transfers commission duties to the department, including designating training academy locations, developing and updating curriculum, establishing training timeframes, developing job-related examinations, and approving training budgets and contractors.

Removes provisions requiring commission approval for training programs and scholarships, replacing them with department authority to establish and implement these programs by rule.

Removes commission members' per diem and travel expense reimbursements from the Juvenile Justice Training Trust Fund and limits fund use to job-task analysis, training course development, and training course costs.

Renumbers subsections in section 985.48 to remove the terminated commission's authority over juvenile sexual offender program training criteria and special training programs.
