Removes the Statewide Intermodal Transportation Advisory Council from Florida Statutes, eliminating its creation, membership structure, and operational requirements.

Removes references to the Advisory Council from the Strategic Intermodal System Plan development process, which continues to be developed by the department in cooperation with metropolitan planning organizations, regional planning councils, local governments, and transportation providers.

Removes the Advisory Council from coordination requirements with the Florida Transportation Commission's annual assessment of Strategic Intermodal System progress and goals.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
