Increases the surcharge imposed on convictions for domestic violence offenses from $201 to $301, applied in addition to any other court-ordered sanctions.

Increases the amount deposited into the Domestic Violence Trust Fund from $85 to $185 per surcharge.

Clerk of court retains $1 per surcharge as a service charge, with the remainder going to the county governing board for incarceration costs and law enforcement training in domestic violence.

Applies to violations of specified assault and battery statutes (s. 784.011, 784.021, 784.03, 784.041, 784.045, 784.048, 784.07, 784.08, 784.081, 784.082, 784.083, 784.085, 794.011) and domestic violence offenses described in s. 741.28.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
