Sheriff must enter information about service of domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, and dating violence injunctions into the Victim Information and Notification Everyday (VINE) system within 24 hours of service.

Sheriff must notify petitioners who have requested notification and registered a telephone number or email address within 12 hours after the respondent has been served with an injunction, including the date, time, and location of service.

Information about vacated, terminated, or no longer effective injunctions must also be entered into the VINE system within 24 hours by the sheriff or local law enforcement agency.

These requirements apply to injunctions for protection against domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, and dating violence under Florida Statutes sections 741.30 and 784.046.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
