School districts must allocate 100 percent of funds received for International Baccalaureate, Advanced International Certificate of Education, and Advanced Placement instruction to the schools and programs that generate those funds.

Funds for these programs must be expended solely on allowable administrative costs (program fees, exam fees, coordinator salaries, instructional materials, professional development) and teacher bonuses.

Teacher bonuses equal either the proportionate value of additional funding minus allowable costs or $50 per eligible student score, whichever is greater, with a $2,000 annual cap ($5,000 for D or F-rated schools).

Teachers in D or F-rated schools receive an additional $500 bonus if any of their students score at passing level on the respective exam.

The Florida Partnership for Minority and Underrepresented Student Achievement must post an annual report by January 15 detailing Advanced Placement teacher professional development, student enrollment and exam performance data, and examination costs and rebates.
