Annexes specified unincorporated lands in Broward County into the City of Parkland, with an effective date of July 1, 2010

Transfers jurisdiction of public roads and rights-of-way from Broward County to the City of Parkland, including ownership, operation, maintenance, planning, design, and construction responsibilities

Maintains existing land use and zoning designations until changed by the appropriate jurisdiction, and preserves all development orders, permits, and licenses in effect at the time of annexation

Allows residents of the annexed area to immediately meet residency requirements for candidacy for municipal office in Parkland

Preserves all existing contracts between Broward County and third parties or between nongovernmental entities that were in effect prior to annexation
