Authorizes the Broward County Sheriff's Office to pay Eric Brody $10,000,000 as compensation for injuries sustained in a March 3, 1998 vehicle accident caused by negligent operation of a sheriff's deputy's vehicle.

Establishes that this payment represents the sole compensation for all present and future claims arising from the accident that resulted in Brody's severe brain injury and permanent disability.

Limits attorney's fees, lobbying fees, costs, and other similar expenses related to this claim to 25 percent of the $10,000,000 award.

Applies to a case where a jury found the Broward County Sheriff's Office 100 percent negligent and rendered a $30,690,000 verdict in December 2005, with the Sheriff's Office having already paid $200,000 under sovereign immunity limits.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
