Designates the Commission on Human Relations as the primary enforcement agency for federal Equal Pay Act claims and requires it to adopt rules and issue guidance on the Act

Requires the Agency for Workforce Innovation to conduct research and studies on eliminating pay disparities between men and women and disseminate findings to employers, labor organizations, and the public

Creates the Governor's Recognition Award for Pay Equity in the Workplace to be awarded annually to Florida businesses that have made substantial efforts to eliminate gender-based pay disparities

Directs the Agency for Workforce Innovation director and Commission on Human Relations chairperson to establish eligibility criteria for the award in cooperation with the Governor's Office

Takes effect July 1, 2010
