Expands public records exemption in s. 119.071, F.S. to include names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by children of current or former guardians ad litem.

Extends the sunset review date for the guardians ad litem exemption from October 2, 2010 to October 2, 2015, allowing the exemption to remain in effect unless repealed by the Legislature.

Requires guardians ad litem to submit a written statement demonstrating reasonable efforts to protect their personal information from public accessibility to maintain the exemption.

Establishes that agencies not employing the guardians ad litem must receive a written request from the employee or employing agency to maintain the exempt status of their information.

Includes statement of public necessity finding that disclosure of children's school and daycare locations could create safety risks due to potential retaliation against guardians ad litem by disgruntled parties involved in cases.
