Amends section 39.0132, Florida Statutes to clarify and reorganize the public records exemption for information held by guardians ad litem in child welfare cases

Specifies that medical, mental health, substance abuse, child care, education, law enforcement, court, social services, and financial records held by a guardian ad litem are confidential and exempt from public records requirements

Includes any other information maintained by a guardian ad litem identified as confidential under the child welfare chapter as exempt from disclosure

Removes the scheduled repeal date of October 2, 2010 that was previously subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act

Takes effect October 1, 2010
