Allows K-12 students diagnosed with pancreatic insufficiency or cystic fibrosis to carry and self-administer prescribed pancreatic enzyme supplements at school, during school-sponsored activities, and in transit to/from school with parental and prescriber authorization

Requires the State Board of Education, in cooperation with the Department of Health, to adopt rules protecting student safety from misuse or abuse of the supplements

Indemnifies school districts, county health departments, public-private partners, and their employees and volunteers from liability related to authorized student use of prescribed pancreatic enzyme supplements

Effective July 1, 2010
