Requires landlords or mortgagors to tender all advance rent and security deposit funds to the court registry or foreclosing entity upon filing of foreclosure, with funds to continue held for tenants' benefit.

Establishes that knowingly failing to comply with deposit and advance rent requirements constitutes theft under Florida law, punishable according to s. 812.014.

Allows foreclosure purchasers to terminate tenant rental agreements with 90-day written notice, except when the mortgagor or their family member occupies the property or when the immediate purchaser sells to a buyer intending to occupy as primary residence.

Requires immediate purchasers to credit tenants for security deposits and advance rent for unexpired rental periods, provided tenants submit evidence of amounts.

Expires December 31, 2012.
