Exempts personal identifying and location information of certified ombudsmen and employees of the Office of State Long-Term Care Ombudsman from public records disclosure requirements under s. 119.07(1) and Art. I, s. 24(a) of the State Constitution.

Protects home addresses, telephone numbers, places of employment, and photographs of ombudsmen and employees, as well as the same information for their spouses and children, plus names and locations of schools and day care facilities attended by their children.

Allows state and federal agencies authorized by law to access the protected information in furtherance of their statutory duties, notwithstanding the exemption.

Subjects the exemption to the Open Government Sunset Review Act with an automatic repeal date of October 2, 2015, unless the Legislature reenacts it.

Effective July 1, 2010; includes legislative finding that the exemption is necessary to protect ombudsmen and employees from privacy and safety concerns, harassment, retaliation, and identity theft while promoting volunteer retention.
