Florida Association of Court Clerks shall develop an automated notification process allowing petitioners to request notification when domestic violence, repeat violence, sexual violence, or dating violence injunctions are served on respondents, subject to available funding.

Automated notices to petitioners must be provided within 12 hours after service of the injunction by the sheriff or law enforcement officer and must include the date, time, and location of service.

Petitioners may also request notification of other court actions related to the protective injunctions through the automated process.

Applies to injunctions for protection against domestic violence under section 741.30 and injunctions for protection against repeat violence, sexual violence, or dating violence under section 784.046.

Effective date is July 1, 2010.
