Amends school grading system to include student performance on standardized end-of-course assessments in visual arts, music, dance, and theatre courses as a factor in designating school grades, subject to available funding

Requires Department of Education, in coordination with Florida professional arts education associations, to develop standardized assessments for fine arts courses

Mandates field testing of fine arts assessments be completed and results reported no later than 2 years after funding becomes available

Adds fine arts assessment data and year-to-year growth or decline in fine arts performance as measurable components for school grading purposes

Takes effect July 1, 2010
