Includes household children under 13 years of age in capacity calculations for licensed family day care homes and large family child care homes when on premises or field trips.

Allows operators discretion in supervising their own household children unless those children receive subsidized child care in the home.

Defines "household children" as those related by blood, marriage, legal adoption, or legal guardianship to the operator or adult household members.

Requires all advertisements for child care facilities, family day care homes, or large family child care homes to include the state or local agency license number or registration number.

Violations of advertising requirements constitute a first-degree misdemeanor, effective July 1, 2010.
