Defines "barbering intern" as a student enrolled in a 1,200-hour barbering program participating in optional work experience under direct supervision of a licensed barber in a licensed barbershop.

Establishes internship sponsor registration requirements, including board approval and registration before accepting each barbering intern, with registration fees not to exceed $30.

Requires barbershops to post conspicuous notice that a student intern is providing services and mandates barbering interns possess written authorization from their school before practicing.

Authorizes the Barbers' Board to establish education prerequisites for internships, set limits on the number of internships per sponsor, and terminate internships for violations of laws and rules.

Amends barbering practice laws to permit services by barbering interns supervised by licensed barbers and to conform prohibited acts provisions with the new internship authorization requirements.
