Requires sellers offering service contracts with automatic renewal provisions to disclose those provisions clearly and conspicuously in the contract or contract offer

Mandates written or electronic notification 30-60 days before the cancellation deadline for contracts with initial terms of 12 months or more that automatically renew for more than 1 month

Notification must explain that the contract will automatically renew unless cancelled and provide methods to obtain details about the renewal provision and cancellation procedures

Exempts financial institutions, health studios, insurance entities, electric utilities, and certain private companies from the automatic renewal notification requirements

Renders automatic renewal provisions void and unenforceable if sellers violate disclosure requirements, unless sellers can demonstrate established written compliance procedures and that failures result from good-faith error
