Department of Veterans' Affairs, in collaboration with the Statewide Office for Suicide Prevention and Department of Children and Family Services, shall seek federal funding for veterans' outreach and suicide prevention programs

Upon receipt of federal funding, the Department of Veterans' Affairs shall implement and administer a grants program that may prioritize underserved areas and veterans ineligible for federal VA health care services

Grant-funded programs must include both veterans and their families in outreach efforts and coordinate with the United States Department of Veterans Affairs

Expands the Suicide Prevention Coordinating Council membership from 28 to 32 voting members, adding the Florida Psychological Association and Florida Psychiatric Society

Governor shall appoint at least two veterans to the council, with one currently enrolled as a student, increasing gubernatorial appointments from four to six members
