Deletes requirement that physician assistants file evidence of 3 months minimum clinical experience in the supervising physician's specialty before prescribing or dispensing medication.

Maintains requirement that physician assistants complete 3 classroom hours in prescriptive practice continuing medical education before commencing to prescribe or dispense.

Maintains requirement that physician assistants file affidavit of 10 continuing medical education hours in their specialty practice area with each licensure renewal.

Updates cross-references in sections 458.348 and 459.025 from subsection (4)(e)8 to (4)(e)7 to reflect the deleted clinical experience requirement.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
