Amends Florida Statutes section 838.22 to add a new felony offense: a public servant who fails to advertise, publicly announce, or electronically post a required solicitation for commodities or contractual services commits bid tampering.

Establishes bid tampering as a second-degree felony punishable under sections 775.082, 775.083, or 775.084 of Florida law.

Reenacts section 921.0022(3)(g) of the Criminal Punishment Code to classify the new bid tampering offense in the Level 7 offense severity ranking chart.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
