Expands federal bankruptcy exemptions available to individual debtors in Florida to include alimony, support, or separate maintenance already received, to the extent reasonably necessary for support of the debtor or dependents.

Establishes that child support is held in trust for the children for whom it is intended and is not considered property of the recipient.

Allows individual debtors to exempt property listed in subsection (d)(10) of section 522 of the federal Bankruptcy Reform Act of 1978, in addition to other state law exemptions.

Effective date: July 1, 2010.
