Creates section 509.234, Florida Statutes, requiring public food service establishments to serve sugar-free substitutes for pancake or waffle syrup and fruit preserves (jelly, jam, marmalade, etc.)

Mandates establishments provide notice to guests about the availability of sugar-free substitutes on food menus and in all locations where foods served with these products are advertised

Requires prominent display of notice on menus, overhead counters, drive-through windows, daily specials postings, and any establishment signage advertising foods with syrups or fruit preserves

Takes effect July 1, 2010
