Exempts determinations by the Commission on Ethics regarding alleged Code of Ethics violations from public records requirements until the complaint is dismissed, the violator requests disclosure, the commission decides not to investigate, or probable cause is determined.

Exempts all proceedings conducted by the state Commission on Ethics or local Commissions on Ethics and Public Trust from public meetings requirements when handling complaints, information, or referrals of alleged ethics violations.

Authorizes the Commission on Ethics and its staff to share investigative information with criminal investigative agencies despite confidentiality requirements.

Establishes October 2, 2015 as the repeal date for these exemptions under the Open Government Sunset Review Act unless the legislature reenacts them.

Takes effect July 1, 2010, contingent on passage of related Senate Bill ____ in the same legislative session.
