Amends section 112.181 to include correctional probation officers in the definition of "emergency rescue or public safety worker" for provisions relating to certain communicable diseases (hepatitis, meningococcal meningitis, tuberculosis) suffered in the line of duty.

Amends section 112.19 to include full-time correctional probation officers as defined in section 943.10(3) in death benefit provisions for officers killed in the line of duty on or after July 1, 1993.

Extends health insurance premium coverage to surviving spouses (until remarriage) and dependent children (until age of majority or end of calendar year in which child reaches age 25) of correctional probation officers killed in the line of duty as a result of violence or assault under riot conditions.

Takes effect July 1, 2010.
