Requires sponsoring agencies to notify local governments at the time of application when requesting to locate a home with six or fewer residents that meets the definition of a community residential home within the local government's jurisdiction

Mandates that the notification to local government include the proposed home's address and the most recently published data from licensing entities identifying all existing community residential homes within 1,000 feet of the proposed site

Maintains that homes with six or fewer residents meeting the community residential home definition are deemed single-family units and noncommercial residential uses allowed in single-family or multifamily zoning without local government approval, provided no other such home exists within 1,000 feet

Requires sponsoring agencies to notify the local government again at the time of home occupancy that the home is licensed by the licensing entity

Takes effect July 1, 2010
