Amends Florida law to allow judges to disregard statutory caps on attorney's fees in workers' compensation cases involving first responders (firefighters, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, and law enforcement officers).

Requires judges to consider six specific factors when awarding attorney's fees in first responder cases: time and labor required, local fee customary practices, amount in controversy and benefits payable, time constraints, attorney experience and reputation, and contingency of the fee.

Establishes that this change serves an important state interest in ensuring prompt and adequate emergency response and public safety by first responders.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
