Requires all mammography reports to include information about breast density using the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System established by the American College of Radiology.

Mandates inclusion of a specific notice in mammogram reports when applicable, informing patients with dense breast tissue about potential benefits of supplementary screening tests including breast ultrasound or MRI.

Applies the breast density reporting requirement to all accident and health insurance policies, group policies, and health maintenance contracts covering mammograms.

Takes effect October 1, 2011.
