Creates the Autism Spectrum Disorder Study Committee to examine the effects of autism spectrum disorder on families where English is the second language

Committee consists of nine members appointed by the Governor (3), President of the Senate (3), and Speaker of the House (3), with required expertise including physicians, behavior analysts, State Surgeon General or Department of Health representative, parent of a child with autism, and special education educator

Committee members receive no compensation, though state funds may be used at the State Surgeon General's discretion for publishing recommendations and public announcements

Committee shall meet at least six times bimonthly starting in August 2011, with final meeting by August 30, 2012, and must submit findings and recommendations for community awareness campaigns to the Governor and Legislature by September 1, 2012

Committee expires on September 1, 2012
