Defines "barbering intern" as a student enrolled in a 1,200-hour barbering program participating in an optional work-experience internship under direct supervision of a licensed barber in a licensed barbershop.

Creates new internship program regulations requiring schools or programs to select interns, obtain internship sponsor approval, and provide written notice to the Barbers' Board.

Requires internship sponsors to be licensed barbers registered with the board, actively supervise interns, ensure compliance with laws and rules, and post notice that a student intern is providing services.

Establishes that barbering interns must possess written authorization from their school or program and may practice only in their field of study, with internships not to exceed 12 months.

Authorizes the board to establish education prerequisites, limit the number of internships per sponsor, and terminate internships or sponsorships for violations; sets internship sponsor registration fee not to exceed $30.
