Amends Florida Statute 843.02 to clarify that resistance, obstruction, or opposition to officers and other authorized personnel must involve factors beyond mere flight from such persons.

Expands the scope of persons protected under the statute to include language referencing "other such person" legally authorized to execute process or perform lawful legal duties.

Maintains that violation constitutes a first-degree misdemeanor, punishable under sections 775.082 or 775.083.

Takes effect July 1, 2011.
