Prohibits text and symbols from being added to the word "Florida" on license plates; the word must be imprinted alone at the top or bottom of the plate as required by law

Changes terminology from "stamped" to "imprinted" for personalized prestige license plates to align with current practices

Allows personalized prestige plate applicants to request the graphic symbol be removed from the center of the plate, reduced in size, and placed to the side of the imprinted letters or numerals for an additional $5 fee

Applies the same "Florida" imprinting requirement to personalized prestige plates, ensuring the word appears alone without additional text or symbols

Takes effect July 1, 2011
