Adds "ocean lifeguard" definition to Florida law as a lifeguard employed along coastal or intracoastal beaches and shores to prevent injury or drowning.

Increases criminal penalties for assault or battery against ocean lifeguards to match those for law enforcement officers and firefighters, reclassifying battery from first-degree misdemeanor to third-degree felony.

Authorizes law enforcement to arrest without warrant any person with probable cause of committing assault on an ocean lifeguard while engaged in lawful duties.

Updates criminal offense severity ranking chart to include battery of ocean lifeguards as a third-degree felony and aggravated assault/battery as second/first-degree felonies.

Requires fingerprinting of minors charged with assault or battery on ocean lifeguards for submission to criminal justice databases, effective October 1, 2011.
