Expands Florida Statutes s. 893.1495 to include dextromethorphan and related compounds alongside existing regulations for ephedrine and pseudoephedrine.

Prohibits obtaining or delivering nonprescription products containing dextromethorphan in excess of 3.6 grams per day, 3 packages per transaction, or 9 grams per 30-day period.

Requires nonprescription products containing dextromethorphan to be displayed behind checkout counters or in areas not accessible to the general public.

Mandates retail employees selling these products complete training on state and federal regulations governing their sale and distribution.

Establishes criminal penalties for violations: second-degree misdemeanor for first offense, first-degree misdemeanor for second offense, and third-degree felony for third or subsequent offense; provides civil immunity for retailers who in good faith release information to law enforcement.
