Exempts from public records disclosure information held by the Office of Financial Regulation that is received from other state or federal regulatory, administrative, or criminal justice agencies if that information is confidential or exempt under those agencies' laws or federal law.

Exempts from public records disclosure information received or developed by the Office of Financial Regulation during joint or multiagency examinations or investigations with other state or federal agencies, provided the office obtains and uses the information according to conditions set by the joint agreement.

Specifies that the exemption for jointly-developed information does not apply to information that would otherwise be publicly available if the Office of Financial Regulation had conducted an independent examination or investigation under Florida law.

Subjects both exemptions to the Open Government Sunset Review Act and requires legislative reenactment by October 2, 2016 to prevent automatic repeal.

Effective July 1, 2011, with retroactive application to information held before, on, or after that date.
