Requires the Florida High School Athletic Association to conduct a study evaluating the need for athletic trainers in all high schools in the state that participate in athletics

Directs the association to consult with school districts, medical professionals, and the Department of Health regarding the need, cost, and availability of hiring athletic trainers

Study must include minimum data on the number of schools currently employing athletic trainers, sports supervised by trainers, and injury rate comparisons between sports with and without athletic trainer supervision

Defines "high school" for purposes of the study as including grades 6 through 12

Requires the association to submit findings to the Governor, President of the Senate, and Speaker of the House of Representatives by December 1, 2011
