Primary care providers may voluntarily publish and post a schedule of charges for medical services, including the 50 most frequently provided services, in a conspicuous place (at least 15 square feet) in their office reception area, with pricing for uninsured patients paying by cash, check, credit card, or debit card.

Primary care providers who publish and maintain a schedule of charges are exempt from license renewal fees for one renewal period and from continuing education requirements for a single 2-year period.

Primary care providers must continually post the schedule while providing services; failure to maintain the posting requires repayment of waived license fees and compliance with previously waived continuing education requirements.

Urgent care centers and health care clinics must publish and post a schedule of charges for medical services (at least 50 most frequently provided) in the same format, with failure to comply resulting in a fine of up to $1,000 per day until compliance.

Entities seeking a certificate of exemption from clinic licensure must publish and maintain a schedule of charges meeting the same requirements as a condition of receiving the exemption.
