Authorizes sale of interstate health insurance policies in Florida by licensed health insurance agents and admitted insurers, defined as policies providing creditable coverage governed by laws of states other than Florida.

Requires interstate health insurance policies and applications to include a conspicuous, boldfaced disclosure in at least 12-point type warning that the policy does not comply with Florida Insurance Code provisions and may allow premium increases not permitted under Florida-approved policies.

Exempts interstate health insurance policies from Florida Insurance Code requirements including form approval, rate approval, underwriting restrictions, guaranteed availability, and coverage mandates.

Subjects interstate health insurance policies to limited Florida Insurance Code provisions related to fraud, unfair trade practices, producer conduct, and claims handling (specific statute sections cited).

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
