Deletes the criterion requiring evidence of an outstanding record regarding the number and types of substantiated complaints reported to the State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Council within 30 months preceding application for Gold Seal Program recognition.

Redesignates paragraph (g) of subsection (5) of section 400.235, F.S. as paragraph (f) due to the deletion of the former paragraph (f).

Maintains the requirement that facilities with conditional licensure status must operate for 30 months with no class I or class II deficiencies and complete a regularly scheduled relicensure survey before qualifying for Gold Seal Program consideration.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
