Amends Florida Statute 790.28 to allow Florida residents to purchase rifles and shotguns in any state, not just states contiguous to Florida.

Removes the geographic restriction that previously limited rifle and shotgun purchases to neighboring states.

Maintains requirement that purchases must comply with applicable laws and regulations of the United States, the state where the purchase is made, and Florida.

Effective date: July 1, 2011.
